1. What’s something that puts you in the mood to draw, no matter what?

When I talk with other peeps about OCs! Be it mine or theirs, it ALWAYS brings me new ideas or makes me feel like doodling something. Also, watching colorful, cartoony shows! The brighter and warmer the color palettes are, the more I feel like doing something!

2. If you would improve anything one thing about your art, what would you improve on?

For the life of me I can't figure it out well yet
I'd like to improve backgrounds as well, but I feel like I have a way better hang of that than I do with perspective, so yeah, angles and stuff pleASE

3. What’s another hobby of yours besides art?

Hmmm I like to sing! I only sing for myself, but you know, it's really fun!
Also I've been really into videogames lately? I usually play something like reaaally now and then, but these days I've been game after game! I just finished Celeste yesterday and mAN it was so good

4. Who is your favorite artist and what is it about their art that you love the most?

Shoot, I have a few
Not counting friends (because I'd be endlessly talking about that dlsnckks) I'd say insertdisc5, plumbum and purpleflrs?
I am absolutely in LOVE with insertdisc5's comics. The way she handles emotions in characters, the squiggly, loose lines. It feels sketch-like but it's done in a way that feels fully complete.
About plumbum, I REALLY like how they draws eyes and the color palettes they use?? Like I said, I LIVE for warm tones. Also?? The way they work with washi tapes is SO cool??? I love it fksnfk
And finally purpleflrs! (Or purple_draws, not sure what's her main one)
I just really, REALLY admire the work she does with copics! HoW DOES SHE DO THAT IT LOOKS SO COOL AND PERFECT
Also the face shapes and the way she draws hands!!! They look so nice vkdjc

5. How would you describe your style?

Hmmm... cartoony, round and, like everyone always say, Steven Universe-like xD not that I'm complaining! It's cool that my own style reflects the things I like while still managing to be its own thing 

6. Is art something you want to do only as a hobby, or would you like to make a career of it?

Hmmm you know, I'm not sure as of right now. I would LOVE to work on the animation industry, but at the same time, art is something so personal to me, it'd be weird to draw for someone else, you know?
Right now I'm in a limbo in that one, but if I had the chance to work with it, I'd at least try it out for sure!

7. What’s a pet peeve of yours?

I hate hate HATE when people are inconsiderate in general, but maaaaaaan, it drives me nuts when someone's talking about their problems and someone else barges in like "wow that's sad but I'm even SADDER because-" and makes it about them, or something of the sort
Or when people bring others down! When someone's excitedly sharing something with their friends and someone comes in to spill hate onto the thing they like! Why!!! Would!!!! You!!!! Do that!!!!!! Let people have fun, you jerk!!!

8. What made you want to become an artist?

Oriiiiginally, I saw my cousin draw and wanted to draw like her. She doesn't draw anymore but I found my passion for it thanks to her! Hahaha
Later on, it was my passion for creating characters and stories, and sharing them with others!

9. What does it look like when you sit down to draw? Do you play music, do you grab a snack? What’s your ritual?

I need either a bed or a couch. Regular chairs and leaning on a table make my back hurt (so does just crouching on a bed, but I last way longer so!!)
I usually sit cross-legged so I can put my tablet on top of my legs, but sometimes I sit with one foot on the chair and the other hanging!
I like to put music, but lately I'm always around family watching TV so I can't haha xD

10. What is your favorite part of the drawing process, and what’s your least favorite part?

My favourite part is coloring, probably, and I haaateeeeeee lineart fdksdk it's so tedious Dx sketching is fine, too!

11. What’s the first video in your youtube recommended section?

Mine is a Sonic Spinball letsplay by Press Buttons and Talk. I've been binge-watching their letsplays as of late hahahaha they're so much fun fkdjc

12. What are you looking forward to?

Next week's episode of Carole & Tuesday!!! I'm SO in love with that show fksjfofj
Other than that, PBnT (the letsplay channel I just mentioned) just started Undertale today, so that's fun to look forward to everyday!
I guess videos are all I have in mind for now hahahah xD

I've been saving and I got enough to buy myself a Switch!!! So yeAH!!!!!!!!!! Def looking forward to that!

Well, for starters, USA so I can meet my gf >u>
then Ireland together!!!!!!!! It looks just so beautiful! Plus it's got quite a few important animation companies so working there is also an option! And did I mention it looks absolutely stunning? aside from translation, at least, animation'd be pretty cool gfhlkfdgh
Also lots of countries as well, but that list would get pretty long. I'd love to visit Norway again!

5. What is your dream job?

You know? I'm not sure anymore. Translation's great, but Animation's really fascinating... so I'm torn between the two! Can I do both? That would be, technically, possible... so yeah! I guess the mix would be my dream job!

Light orange. Like... peach orange??? something like that.

As of right noooww... Mystery Skulls, In Love with a Ghost and Hayley Kiyoko. Also Snail's House!
If I had to choose just one, guess it'd be Mystery Skulls!

Steven Universe, Boku no Hero Academia and probs Wander Over Yonder? It still means a lot to me!!

After this week's Boku No Hero Academia episode (S3E3, "Kota", if you want to avoid spoilers), LeesiGalaxy and I thought of a little idea!

This is a call for every BNHA OC who wants to join in!

BNHA SUMMER CAMP

Your character's class has been called on to an intensive training course at a summer camp! A great opportunity to improve your quirk outdoor, breathe some fresh air and enjoy a nice time with your friends!

Of course, not everything's going to be about relaxing and having fun! This IS a training course after all. Expect lots of work to further strengthen your quirk, as well as your physical abilities in general!

So, what's the idea of this journal?

We're here to offer ideas and help you look for other people interested in joining in with your character on their adventures during this event! You are free to participate in one or all of the different activities planned for it, just have fun! If enough people are interested, we could randomly select people to pair with others to join in their missions, or you could always do so on your own, whatever works best for you!

I'm interested! What do I have to do?

Below, we'll post a list of all the different activities your character can do during their stay at the summer camp. You're free to choose whatever you'd like and do so! The idea of this is to work as a source of inspiration for you to pick ideas from. We'll also add the pieces of whoever joins in this journal so others can see your work!

That's enough, tell me about the activities!

You can either follow what we've seen so far in the show (no manga spoilers, please!) or take some of the ideas we've found out for this!

• Cooking: This summer camp is planned for your class' personal growth and to improve their relational skills! You must either work along with your classmates to make the best stew you can or stay hungry until the end of the camp, it's your choice!
• Quirk training: Every person has their flaws, and no quirk is perfect. But as a future hero, you must find a way to reduce your quirk's disadvantages to a minimum and make it as strong as you can! Find your quirk's flaw, expose it and endure it so you can become the hero you dream of being!
• Test of Courage: (aka the reason we came up with this journal) Find a partner or join the rest of your class to form the scariest experience of your life!
• If you go with someone else, you have to be ready for whatever the rest of your classmates throw at you! Remember, you're going to be a hero, so try to be ready for all sorts of surprises and learn to face your fears! (If you want to be paired up with someone randomly, plase state so in a comment below!)
  
• If you join the class, you're free to use your quirk however you'd like to try and scare them! The only rule is to not touch them or harm them under any circumstances, but everything else is under your jurisdiction!
• Hot springs: Nothing beats relaxing in a hot spring after a day of full intensive training! Take this chance to enjoy the water, talk with your friends and get ready for another day of driving your quirk to its limit.
• Suikawari*: Because summer in Japan can't be summer without some traditions, right? It's not unusual to see a group of friends during this season trying to break a watermelon in half, blindfolded and armed with a wooden stick. Your class is no different! After spinning around three times, someone is set to try and find the watermelon. Will your character be the one to watch as the others try, or will they offer to try and find it? Try to hone your senses and avoid using your quirk!
• Hanabi*: Since you're currently at a summer camp, you can't really participate on the summer festivals you usually would, right? But that doesn't mean you can't have fun! Organize an event with your classmates, wear your yukata, create a fun game or simply watch those far away fireworks with your friends!
